Kindermusik International

In 1978, Kindermusik International Inc. was first introduced by founder Dan Pratt who discovered this curriculum to empower young children to learn through music. Kindermusik is a research-based curriculum that recognizes the learning potential of every young child and sets foundation for a lifetime of learning. When paired with movement, instruments and props, music strengthens neural pathways in babies’ brains and enhance all areas of development. The benefit of music is transformational: as babies sing and dance with their peers, they are building confidence along with cognitive, socioemotional and language skills.
Kindermusik at Speakeasy Baby
Speakeasy Baby implements Kindermusik curriculum into the program to provide a dynamic learning experience for babies. My engaging music-based classes develop babies’ socioemotional skills through parent-child bonding, teacher-child bonding and encouraging peer interactions.
My private playgroup program is categorized into 3 stages: Infants (6 months – 12 months), Young Toddlers (13 months – 24 months) and Growing Toddlers (25 months – 36 months). I also design combined lessons to accommodate babies at different stages to enjoy classes together.

Infants
6 months – 12 months
My infant classes are designed to help babies build a foundation for playgroup classes. Your baby’s first day in playgroup could be a daunting experience, therefore I designed this course to help your baby adjust to the routine of class in the comforts of your home. My infant classes offer a sensory-rich yet caring and gentle environment where infants can explore and react to new sounds, sensations, and objects. To facilitate deeper parent-child bonding, I guide shared activities with joyful music-making experiences.
